Lionel Messi's sixth Champions League goal of the season inspired Barcelona to victory at PSV
Barcelona wrapped up top spot in Champions League Group B with a Lionel Messi-inspired 2-1 victory over PSV in Eindhoven.
Messi fired Barca ahead with his stunning sixth goal of the campaign on the hour before cleverly picking out Gerard Pique for their second on 70 minutes.
PSV needed to win to keep their faint Europa League hopes alive and struck the woodwork on three occasions in the first half, but Luuk de Jong's consolation came too late as the Dutch champions crashed out of Europe.
The victory sees Barcelona finish as group winners in the Champions League for the 12th successive season and the 20th time overall.
Atletico Madrid secured qualification to the knockout stages of the Champions League with a comfortable 2-0 victory over Thierry Henry's Monaco.
ATLETICO 2-0 MONACO
Atletico took the lead after just two minutes as a Koke (2) effort from outside the box took a heavy deflection off Jemerson. Diego Simeone's side doubled their lead when Angel Correa squared for Antoine Griezmann (24) who slotted home from six yards.
Monaco improved in the second half especially after the introduction of Radamel Falcao, who almost scored with his first touch against his former club.
TOTTENHAM 1-0 Inter Milan
Tottenham kept their Champions League campaign alive thanks to Christian Eriksen’s winner as they beat Inter Milan 1-0 at Wembley.
After defeats in the reverse fixture in Italy and at home to Barcelona, this was a win or bust situation for the north Londoners and they left it late on a nervy night when substitute Eriksen slammed home with 10 minutes remaining.
The result means that Spurs, who go to already qualified Barcelona in the final Group B game, need to match or better Inter's result against PSV to qualify.
PSG 2-1 LIVERPOOL
Liverpool were beaten 2-1 by PSG in their penultimate Champions League game to leave their hopes of reaching the knockout stages in the balance.
It took 13 minutes for PSG to take the lead at the Parc des Princes as Juan Bernat swept home at the near post before Neymar (37) slotted home after Edinson Cavani's flick was saved by Alisson.
James Milner (45+1) pulled a goal back for Liverpool just before the break after the visitors were given a penalty when Angel Di Maria fouled Sadio Mane in the area.
But neither side could find another goal in the second half and Group C will go down to the final matchday in two weeks' time, with Liverpool needing to beat Napoli 1-0 or by two clear goals to make it into the knockout rounds.
