Manchester United 2-0 Derby:
Jesse Lingard opened the scoring for Manchester United late on against Derby
A stunning late strike from Jesse Lingard helped Manchester United to beat Derby 2-0 in their FA Cup third-round tie at Old Trafford.
The in-form Championship side looked set to hold out but Lingard's eighth goal in 10 games in the 83rd minute put United ahead and Romelu Lukaku's stoppage-time goal sealed it.
It had looked like being a frustrating night for Jose Mourinho's team as Marcus Rashford hit the post twice and Scott Carson pulled off a series of fine saves for Derby.
But United deserved their win despite the visitors' brave efforts to keep them out and go into the fourth round with hopes of lifting the trophy they last won in 2016.

The home side began brightly and almost all of the attacking players tried their luck in the opening stages, Ander Herrera heading wide and Juan Mata forcing a good save from Carson.
The breakthrough really should have come 10 minutes before the interval when Rashford headed Henrikh Mkhitaryan's right-wing cross against the post from close range.
Mkhitaryan's form remains a concern, surrendering possession sloppily at times, and he was replaced by Lukaku at the interval. By that point, Paul Pogba had tested Carson with another free-kick that the goalkeeper did well to tip wide.
Derby were only an intermittent threat on the counter-attack through the powerful running of former United man Tom Lawrence but they got to the break with hopes of a replay intact.
That looked likely when Rashford's right-footed shot on the angle struck the foot of the post and bounced clear with 20 minutes remaining before Pogba missed another good chance soon after.
Liverpool 2-1 Everton: Virgil van Dijk scores FA Cup winner on debut
Virgil van Dijk scored a dramatic late winner on his Liverpool debut to secure a 2-1 win over Merseyside rivals Everton in the third round of the FA Cup.
The £75m defender headed home in the 85th minute to a thunderous ovation around Anfield as Liverpool extended their unbeaten derby run to 16 matches.
James Milner had given Liverpool the lead in the 35th minute when he converted from the penalty spot after Mason Holgate fouled Adam Lallana.
Man of the match: Virgil van Dijk
Everton, who announced the signing of Cenk Tosun at half-time, levelled after a brilliant counter-attack was finished by Gylfi Sigurdsson in the 67th minute, but Van Dijk stole the show with his late winner.
The goal was Van Dijk's first in any competition since scoring in last season's FA Cup third round for Southampton, and starts to repay the huge transfer fee that Liverpool paid for the defender this month.
While the Reds dominated the Premier League meeting between these sides a month ago, on this occasion Everton showed more ambition and matched their hosts in an even first half.
Still, there was little goalmouth action at either end, with Milner going closest when he volleyed wide in the 26th minute from Joe Gomez's crossfield pass.
It was Milner who broke the deadlock from the penalty spot after Holgate was penalised for grabbing Lallana.
Holgate was involved in another flashpoint towards the end of the first half when he shoved Roberto Firmino into the stands and the pair both reacted angrily.
