Liverpool moved seven points clear at the top of the Premier League table with a 3-1 win over Leicester at Anfield.
Second-placed Chelsea's defeat to Fulham earlier on Boxing Day gave Arne Slot's side the chance to extend their lead at the summit and they took it with both hands - albeit after an early scare.

Cody Gakpo levelled when he cut inside from the left-hand side and curled home a superb effort from the edge of the box in first-half stoppage time, with Liverpool then going in front when Curtis Jones swept home Alexis Mac Allister's cut-back early in the second period.

FULHAM 2-1 CHELSEA
Fulham delivered a stoppage-time hammer blow to Chelsea's Premier League title aspirations with Rodrigo Muniz's last-gasp finish grabbing a 2-1 win and a first victory at Stamford Bridge for the Cottagers since 1979.
Muniz was in acres of space in the box when Sasa Lukic found him with a low cross to deliver a belated Christmas gift to the elated travelling support. The Fulham bench emptied in celebration - Chelsea's subs, coaching staff and boss Enzo Maresca slumped back into their seats.
The Blues head coach has repeatedly tempered talk of a title challenge and, after drawing with Everton at the weekend, this Boxing Day derby defeat leaves them reeling. They finish this round of matches seven points adrift of Liverpool, who won one of their two games in hand against Leicester later in the day.
Sub Harry Wilson - who had turned another west London derby against Brentford with heroics off the bench earlier this season - cancelled out Cole Palmer's wonderful opener with a close-range header and Fulham capitalised on the counter to score a historic victory over their neighbours.
WOLVES 2-0 MANCHESTER UNITED
Wolves moved out of the relegation zone thanks to Matheus Cunha's goal from a corner as Bruno Fernandes was sent off for Manchester United in their 2-0 defeat at Molineux.
Cunha was the outstanding player on the pitch throughout but it was still a surprise when his second-half corner was allowed to curl beyond Andre Onana and into the net. It is the second time in three games that United have conceded directly from a corner.
Fernandes' red card for two bookable offences had already left United up against it and there was no way back for Ruben Amorim's team, Hee-Chan Hwang's 99th-minute goal, set up by Cunha, of course, putting the seal on a huge win for Vitor Pereira's Wolves.
This Boxing Day win was only a second Premier League victory of the season in front of their own fans but it is two wins from two under Pereira to lift Wolves up to 17th.
United's defeat sees them drop down to 14th in the Premier League table.
