Chelsea 2-2 Vidi

Group winners Chelsea lost their perfect Europa League record as they were held to a 2-2 draw by MOL Vidi in Hungary.

Everything was going perfectly for Maurizio Sarri's men, who had already wrapped up top spot in Group L, when Willian curled in a first-half free-kick to put them ahead (30).
But within two minutes, Ethan Ampadu's clumsy header into his own net from a corner provided a leveller for the hosts - and just the second goal Chelsea had conceded in the competition.

Two became three in the second half when Loic Nego's crisp volley from Giorgi Milanov's pinpoint left-wing cross whistled beyond Willy Caballero at his near post to put the hosts in front (56).

CELTIC 1-2 BULL

Celtic were given a footballing lesson by Red Bull Salzburg as the visitors deservedly won 2-1 at Celtic Park, but Brendan Rodgers' side still progressed to the Europa League knockout stages after RB Leipzig failed to beat Rosenborg.

On a bizarre night, Munas Dabbur headed home a Stefan Lainer cross midway through the second half to finally hammer home Salzburg's superiority, after they had spurned a raft of chances.

Craig Gordon made two outstanding saves to keep his team level in the first half, as Celtic were at times overwhelmed by the classy Austrian side. But the goalkeeper then made a horrendous blunder with 13 minutes left, gifting the ball to Fredrik Gulbrandsen for an easy tap-in to seemingly end hopes of a comeback.

ARSENAL 1-0 QARABAG

An early goal from Alexandre Lacazette was enough to earn a youthful Arsenal side a 1-0 victory over Qarabag FK in a low-key Europa League clash at the Emirates.

Eyebrows were raised ahead of kick-off when Unai Emery started the Frenchman in a game with little meaning, but the striker justified his inclusion when he scored in the 16th minute.

Academy prospect Bukayo Sako, 17, spurned a handful of chances to become the club's youngest European goalscorer on his full debut, while Eddie Nketiah saw a late header chalked off with the linesman's flag raised.
