Arsene Wenger finally got one over on his old adversary Jose Mourinho as Arsenal beat Manchester United 2-0 on Sunday.
The result gives the Gunners an outside chance of making the Premier League top four and will appease a beleaguered Wenger after years of coming off second-best against the Portuguese.
Two goals in the space of three minutes from Granit Xhaka and Danny Welbeck settled the match, to hand Wenger his first Premier League victory over Mourinho at the thirteenth attempt.
FT: A huge win for Wenger, who has ended Mourinho's hoodoo over him in some style. And in so doing he has revived Arsenal's hopes of a top four finish.
