UEFA Champions League 2017 semifinal draw has taken place and Real Madrid takes on Atletico Madrid in the 1st semifinal tie while AS Monaco takes on Juventus in the second semifinal tie.

The first legs will be played on 02-03 May 2017 where Madrid and Monaco will host first legs while second legs will take place a week later on 09-10 May 2017 Atletico and Juventus hosting second legs.

2016/2017 UEFA Champions League adventure roars on. After plenty of excitement in quarter-final stage of the competition, only four teams are left, Real Madrid, Juventus, Atletico Madrid and Monaco.

Now, all eyes turn to semi-final as these four teams still involved in 2016/2017 UEFA Champions League found out their opponents in the Champions League final four. The draw took place at 12.00CET today.

The draw involved no seeds and the order of the matches was decided by who is drawn out first. The semi-final first legs will be played on Tuesday 2 and Wednesday 3 May, with the returns the following week.

The side drawn first in each tie will play the first leg at home.

There was also an additional draw to define whether the winner of semi-final 1 or semi-final 2 is considered, for administrative purposes, the home team in the final. The National Stadium of Wales in Cardiff will stage the final at 20:45CET on Saturday 3 June.

The draw for the Europa League semi-finals took place straight after the Champions League semi-final draw in Nyon, Switzerland on Friday at 13:00CET, with Manchester United, Ajax, Celta Vigo and Olympique Lyon the remaining four clubs in the competition.

The draw was open, there were no seeding or country protection so any team can be drawn against any other. There was also an additional draw that will define whether the winner of semi-final 1 or the winner of semi-final 2 will be considered, for administrative purposes, the home side in the final.

The last-four ties will be played on Thursday 4 and 11 May, and the sides drawn first out of the pot will play the first leg at home.

The final will take place on 24 May at the Friends Arena in Solna, Stockholm.
