EPL: Bournemouth Came From Behind to beat Liverpool 4-3

Ake scores Bournemouth's 4th and winning goal

Bournemouth produced a remarkable second half comeback to defeat Liverpool 4-3 at the Vitality Stadium on Sunday.

What an extraordinary game. The Cherries rallied to come back, with 3-1 behind,  with the impact of Fraser coming on, with 14 minutes to go, to beat Liverpool 4-3.

Then it looked like Karius had saved Liverpool at 3-3 with Afobe’s chance, but they simply would not be denied, with Ake scrambling home!

Amazing, WHAT A GAME!
Bournemouth looked dead and buried at 3-1 down midway through the second half,  but the Cherries produced one of the most memorable comebacks in Premier League history to win the match at Dean Court this afternoon. An incredible feat by Eddie Howe's men.

Liverpool will be kicking themselves. They dominated the first half and appeared to have stymied Bournemouth's first comeback attempt when Emre Can found the net, but lapse defending and mistakes from Loris Karius have seen them lose the game from a 3-1 winning position in the 64th minute.

They dominated us, says Ake!

Nathan Ake has admitted that Bournemouth were dominated before mounting their comeback.

“They dominated us, we just sat back and watched, then it changed.

“We just had to dig in. The gaffer said, ‘don’t drop, express yourselves.’”
Substitute Ryan Fraser won a penalty, scored the second as well, and then set up the equaliser in a remarkable performance

Divock Origi doubled the away side's advantage just minutes later with a superb finish from a tight angle.

Callum Wilson pulled a goal back for the hosts from the penalty spot after Ryan Fraser was brought down

Emre Can restored Liverpool's two-goal lead with a well struck shot from outside the area on the hour mark.

Fraser pulled one back for the hosts before Steve Cook stabbed home an equaliser ten minutes from time.

Nathan Ake scored the winner from close range with just two minutes of extra time remaining in the match.
