Claudio Bravo endured a nightmare return to Catalonia as his sending off opened the floodgates for Barcelona to run riot against Manchester City.
Bravo saw red early on in the second half for a deliberate handball outside his penalty area from a Luis Suarez shot.
His dismissal was with the scoreline at 1-0 thanks to a Lionel Messi strike, but the latter quickly completed his hat-trick afterwards.

Strange as it may sound, Manchester were not THAT bad this evening
Up until Claudio Bravo's most avoidable red card, Manchester City actually looked more than capable of stealing a point from this.
Pep Guardiola won't be happy with how his players reacted after going down to 10 men (chucking the towel in) but there is cause for City optimism head of the return fixture at the Etihad Stadium in two week's time.

The former Blaugrana boss saw his goalkeeper sent off and his former star grab a hat-trick, but he insists he has been through worse
Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola says his team's 4-0 loss to Barcelona was not the worst of his career.

Real team mates celebrate second goal

REAL MADRID

REAL Madrid edged towards the last 16 of the Champions League, but disturbances between visiting Polish ultras and the police marred their 5-1 win at the Santiago Bernabeu on Tuesday.

Five fans and two police officers were treated for minor injuries after clashes outside the stadium before kick-off.

UEFA had already ordered the return match between the sides in two weeks’ time be played behind closed doors due to violence and racist abuse in Legia’s opening 6-0 defeat in Group F to Borussia Dortmund last month.

“Legia is a team with tradition and deserves to play in front of a full stadium,” said Legia coach Jacek Magiera.

“These incidents reflect negatively on us and we have to ensure they don’t happen again.” Once the action got underway, Madrid had way too much firepower as Gareth Bale, a Tomasz Jodlowiec own goal and Marco Asensio handed the hosts a comfortable half-time lead despite Miroslav Radovic’s penalty.

Ozil celebrates his goal

ARSENAL
Arsenal 6-0 Ludogorets

Mesut Ozil scored a hat-trick after stunning goals from Alexis Sanchez and Theo Walcott as Arsenal dismantled Ludogorets Razgrad in a ruthless Champions League display.

Sanchez got the first with a masterful chip from just inside the box.

Walcott powered a curling shot home after Ludogorets' Wanderson hit a post.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain smashed a loose ball into the corner for the third, before Ozil scored three times in a game for the first time in his career.

The Gunners have won seven games in a row in all competitions - scoring 23 goals - and are undefeated in 11 matches.

Their last defeat was at home to Liverpool on the opening day of the Premier League season.

Victory over Bulgarian champions Ludogorets means Arsenal top Group A ahead of Paris St-Germain, who beat Basel 3-0, on goal difference.

Mahrez celebrates his winner

LEICESTER CITY

Leicester 1 vs FC Copenhagen 0

Mahrez goal secures perfect three out of three for Foxes in Europe.

Just eight points in the Premier League but a full nine points from nine in the Champions League where Leicester City are within touching distance of a place in the knockout stages of a competition that has barely caused them a moment of trouble this season.

They beat Copenhagen for their third straight Champions League victory, even if Claudio Ranieri’s team will know that in Group G they have faced some of the most mediocre opposition the competition has to offer this season. Just one point against the same team in Denmark on Nov 2 should be enough to see them through to the last eight – and this from a side yet to concede a goal in Europe.
