The People's Association says 51 matches will be screened at community clubs during the month-long season of the Euro 2016 tournament.
A total of 26 Community Clubs (CCs) islandwide will be screening the UEFA Euro 2016 football matches live starting from Jun 11 (Saturday).
In a news release on Monday (May 30), the People's Association (PA) announced that the CCs will screen 51 matches during the month-long season of Euro 2016.
Among the CCs screening the Euro 2016 matches are: Bishan, Bukit Batok, Buona Vista, Chong Pang, Clementi, Ci Yuan, Eunos, Jurong Central, Jurong Spring, Kampong Glam, Potong Pasir, Sengkang, Tampines West, Toa Payoh Central, Whampoa, Yew Tee, Yuhua, Yio Chu Kang, Choa Chu Kang, Ulu Pandan, Braddell Heights, Fengshan, Gek Poh, Canberra, Serangoon and Ayer Rajah.
PA’s chief executive director Ang Hak Seng said: “When we screened World Cup and Barclays Premier League matches, many residents enjoyed the atmosphere while cheering for their favourite teams. We are happy to offer another occasion for neighbours to enjoy football fever together with their friends, and hopefully make some new ones in the process.”
