Iheanacho outranks Sergio Aguero, Thierry Henry, Luis Suarez and others

Kelechi Iheanacho is not even first choice at Manchester City but, after his strike at Hull on Monday, he is now the most deadly Premier League goalscorer of all time.

Iheanacho's phenomenal return has come as he attempts to overhaul Sergio Aguero as Pep Guardiola's preferred striker.

His goal against Hull hauled him to the top of the charts when a sample size of at least 10 goals is considered.

The Nigerian, who tapped in from close range against Hull, has now struck a goal every 95.6 minutes, compared to Aguero who has one per 107.1 minutes.

Iheanacho has scored just over a tenth of the goals the Argentinian has managed, suggesting there is still some way to go for the youngster to prove his worth ahead of Aguero.

The 20-year-old stands ahead of other top-10 members Thierry Henry, Zlatan Ibrahmovic, Ruud van Nistelrooy and Luis Suarez.

Other surprising names on the list include former Reading striker Adam Le Fondre.

Le Fondre managed 12 goals during his time in the Premier League. He was prolific when used as a substitute by managers Brian McDermott and Nigel Adkins, hence his superb goalscoring rate.

The presence of Hernan Crespo, who was widely considered to be a flop during his time at Chelsea, would also come as something of a surprise.

Crespo managed 20 goals at a rate of one every 140.7 minutes during his two full seasons in the Premier League.

Current Premier League players who also make the top ten include Diego Costa and Harry Kane.
