Manchester City 4 -0 Bournemouth
Manchester City defeated Bournemouth 4-0 in the Premier League at the Etihad Stadium as the hosts maintained their berth at the top of the table on Saturday.
Kevin De Bruyne gave a virtuoso performance as he opened the scoring with a clever free-kick, and Kelechi Iheanacho made it 2-0 after just 25 minutes.
Raheem Sterling grabbed the third shortly after the half-time restart, and new German signing Ilkay Gundogan made it 4-0 as City ran riot.
It was an extraordinary performance from the Manchester giants, as they prove to be worthy favourites to win the title after manager Pep Guardiola's arrival.
EPL Leicester beat Burnley
Leicester’s new record signing Islam Slimani struck twice on his Premier League debut to fire the champions to a deserved victory.
Leicester pick up their second Premier League win of the season and it was comfortable in the end.
Two goals for Slimani, who opened his account for the club, came either side of the half-time whistle and then a Jordan Mee own goal finshed off Burnley with just over 10 minutes to play.
The Foxes move on to seven points and make it back-to-back 3-0 wins in less than three days.
Arsenal beat Hull City 1-4
Arsenal continued their fine Premier League form with a 4-1 win over Hull City on Saturday, thanks to a brace from star forward Alexis Sanchez.
Sanchez opened the score after 17 minutes thanks to a lucky deflection, but the Chilean missed the chance to double Arsenal's lead with a penalty—Jake Livermore had handled the ball inside the box and was sent off as a result.
Theo Walcott doubled the Gunners' lead in the second half, but Robert Snodgrass converted a penalty to give Hull some hope. Sanchez soon restored the two-goal lead with his second goal of the afternoon, however, and Granit Xhaka put the final score on the board.
The hosts started the match well, but Arsenal soon took control of the ball and threatened early. Santi Cazorla opened up some space for Hector Bellerin on the right wing, but the Spaniard just couldn't find a way through the defence.
Shkodran Mustafi did well to close down a cross from David Meyler, and Adama Diomande fared little better against the Germany international with the Tigers' first counter opportunity.
West Bromwich Albion beat West Ham 4-2
A new era at West Bromwich Albion began in entertaining style as a 4-2 home win against West Ham United helped ease speculation about Tony Pulis' future.
In the first game since Thursday's announcement that a takeover by Chinese group Yunyi Guokai Sports Development Limited -- led by Guochuan Lai -- had been completed, defeat might have left Pulis, with speculation surrounding his future prior to kick-off, on the brink.
During last weekend's defeat at Bournemouth, Albion fans sang "Tony Pulis, your football is s---" but no such criticism could be levelled on Saturday.
